The short, honest version of what we collect and why. We are a family business, not a data company.

What We Collect

When you book, we receive the details you give our booking partner Hospitable: your name, email, phone number, party size and payment details (payments are handled by Hospitable and its payment processor, we never see your full card number). When you use the sign-up popup, the chat helper's text-back form or the guest Wi-Fi at one of our homes, we collect your name, email address and mobile number, the home you asked about or stayed at, and your dates. Our website also uses standard analytics cookies so we can see which pages guests find useful.

How We Use It

To run your stay: confirmations, check-in details, the digital guidebook and support during your visit. To answer the questions you send us. To send you occasional news about our homes, open dates and direct-booking perks if you signed up for them. We may text you at the mobile number you give us about your stay or your question. You can reply STOP to any text or use the unsubscribe link in any email at any time.

Who We Share It With

Only the services that run the business: Hospitable (bookings and messaging), Quo (texting), our email tool, Google Analytics and Meta for site analytics and advertising measurement, and Cloudflare, which hosts this site. We never sell your information and we never share it with other guests or owners.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to understand how people use the site and to show our homes to people who have visited before. You can block these with your browser settings or an ad blocker and the site works just the same.

Your Choices

Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing messages. We keep booking records for as long as the law and our accountant require, and marketing contacts until you ask us to remove you.

Children

Our website and marketing are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
